Massa Lubrense
Massa Lubrense, in a privileged panoramic location, occupies the extreme tip of the Sorrento Peninsula,

one of the most famous tourist destinations in Italy, in a special location with breathtaking natural scenery. It extends into the Tyrrhenian Sea, almost touching the island of Capri, forming a boundary line between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.
Located between Sorrento, Capri, and Positano, yet less known, Massa Lubrense retains a secluded nature and preserves ancient flavors and charm. Its districts are completely immersed in greenery, connected by internal roads and marked paths that are easy to walk.
Nature and art define the 18 districts of Massa Lubrense, which preserve important classical and medieval landmarks, mostly accompanied by Baroque and Renaissance religious architecture.
The strength of Massa Lubrense is undoubtedly the beauty of its landscapes, which include the natural reserves of Punta Campanella and Ieranto, dense forests, rocky coastlines overlooking the island of Capri, the fishing village of Nerano, and views of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.
The land of Massa Lubrense, in addition to boasting ancient villas and temples from the Roman and pre-Roman eras, is linked to some of the most famous myths of antiquity, such as the tale of the hero Ulysses and the sirens, as well as to Minerva and Liparo, the founder of Sorrento.
